We offer Comprehensive dental/oral Evaluations for all our patients
An oral examination is a visual inspection of the mouth, head, and neck, performed to detect abnormalities. Radiographs allow for a more complete examination, helping the doctor to detect cavities, problems in existing dental restorations, gum and bone recession or other abnormal conditions within the mouth, head and neck area.

Cleaning of teeth is very important. In this process, the dentist reduces dental plaque and tartar from the teeth. Specific equipment and solutions are used for this purpose to carefully remove plaque and debris. First, the dentist uses an ultrasonic device that produces vibrations and is cooled by water which eases the layers of tartar in larger portions. Then handy tools are used to physically remove the tartar, debris, and stains on teeth. Once the teeth are cleaned out, then the dentist polishes the teeth.
Custom Mouth Guards
Teeth are a very important part of the human body. Many sports activities demand players to use a mouth guard like wrestling, baseball, and football. The mouth guard is used to safeguard their teeth while training and playing. In contact sports, players use the mouth guard to cover up the gums and teeth. There are plenty of mouth guards available in the market. Use the one that fits you properly and it will save you from many serious dental injuries.
Scaling and Root Planing
Scaling and root planning of teeth is a non-surgical procedure that is utilized to treat any periodontal disease. Different dental tools and equipment are used throughout the scaling procedure. Some dental tools are used to get rid of dental plaque and debris from underneath the gums. When teeth and gums are cleaned then the planning process can begin. Root planning helps the gums heal on their own and reattach themselves to a clean and smoother root surface of the teeth.

Root Canal Treatment
When your teeth start decaying, it usually starts from the root. Root canals are generally used on the tooth which was infected or damaging from the root. When root canal treatments are in the process, the dentist takes out the infected or swollen pulp slowly. It is the main element that is infecting the whole tooth. Then, within the tooth, the dentist cleans out and sanitizes it. It is done prior to being filling it up and sealed. The filling and sealing limit the exposure of potential future dental infection. After that, the root canal is complete, and the tooth is renewed using a dental crown or filling. It acts as a shield for the tooth and restores regular tooth function
Wisdom Teeth/Third Molars
Wisdom teeth are the last set of molars and they appear after your 20s. These teeth are considered the third set of molars which can come with a lot of pain. The pain is because there is insufficient space for these molars which makes them expand in sideways right underneath the gumline. Their arrival can jeopardize the entire dental alignment. Usually, doctors suggest that one takes out these wisdom teeth. If not extracted, they must be in good alignment. An incorrect eruption of wisdom teeth can result in infection and cause cavities, harm to neighboring teeth, unpleasant jaw cysts and bite imbalance. So, it is better to extract them.
A tooth that is damaged beyond repair and cannot be saved with restorative processes might need to be extracted. When a tooth is supposed to be extracted, the whole region around the tooth will be numbed with anesthesia. Then, the tooth is loosened from the jawbone, surrounding ligaments and gum tissues. A little bit of shaking can be done if the tooth is still stuck. Once it is loose enough then it is carefully removed. Stitches are occasionally needed but not for everyone.
