Testimonials

Hear from Our Patients

Dan G - Yelm

I really appreciate the professionalism they exhibit and the care they put into their work. Honest and up front with cost analysis so you can decide on what procedures you want completed. This is my dental place for years and years to come!

K G - West Richland

Highly recommend! I've been having Jessica T. clean my teeth since 2007, she's the BEST! No pain or discomfort and my teeth have stayed healthy. Wherever she goes, my family goes! The office is conveniently located in west richland, brand new building w/ new technology, and the dentist is friendly and knowledgeable. Husband had a tooth break recently, they were able to get him in right away and took great care of him. The most gentle extraction he's ever had.

M Gormley - North Richland

Returning patient of the N. Richland office after moving away for five years. Appreciated Julie's thorough care and helpful advice - as per her usual high standards. I had seen Dr. Weatherill only a few times after Dr. Lagergren's practice was purchased. Dr. Weatherill is as professional and friendly as I remembered. Glad to be back!.

Ashley B - Washington

I have dental insurance that iant accepted here but I pay cash to go here because the staff is friendly and understanding. The doctors are professional and non judgemental as well as understanding and reassuring. I would recommend this dental office to anyone.

Erin G - Deschutes

I had a wonderful experience at my recent dental appointment at Family First Dental on Deschutes. As a first-time patient, I was so impressed by how thorough the exam was. The doctor was kind and informative, my hygienist was absolutely wonderful, and the entire staff made me feel genuinely welcomed from the moment I arrived. It's refreshing to find an office that is both professional and warm and I'm really looking forward to building a long-term relationship with this team. Highly recommend!

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions About General Dental Care

What is included in general dental care?

General dental care includes the routine services that help patients protect their teeth, gums, and overall oral health. This may include dental exams, professional cleanings, digital X-rays, fillings, gum health evaluations, tooth pain assessments, and treatment planning for future needs. At Family First Dental, our Kennewick dental care team also helps patients understand when services such as crowns, extractions, dentures, implants, periodontal treatment, cosmetic dentistry, or Invisalign® may be appropriate.

How often should I schedule a dental cleaning?

Many patients benefit from a dental cleaning every six months, but some may need more frequent visits depending on gum health, plaque buildup, cavity risk, dry mouth, medical conditions, or past dental concerns. Routine cleanings help remove tartar that brushing and flossing cannot fully address at home. They also give our team a chance to check for early signs of decay, gum inflammation, tooth wear, and other issues before they become more difficult to treat.

Why are dental exams important if my teeth feel fine?

A dental exam can identify concerns before they cause pain or visible changes. Cavities, gum disease, worn enamel, cracked teeth, bite problems, and infection may begin quietly, especially in areas that are difficult to see without digital imaging. Regular exams allow our team to evaluate your teeth, gums, bite, and existing dental work, then explain any findings in a clear, practical way so you can make informed decisions about your care.

What should I do if I notice tooth sensitivity or discomfort?

Tooth sensitivity or discomfort can come from many causes, including enamel wear, gum recession, cavities, cracked teeth, grinding, loose fillings, or inflammation near the tooth nerve. If sensitivity lingers, worsens, or affects eating and drinking, it is a good idea to schedule an appointment with a local dentist. Our team can evaluate the area, review your symptoms, and recommend next steps based on what is causing the discomfort.
