Testimonials

Hear from Our Patients

Dan G - Yelm

I really appreciate the professionalism they exhibit and the care they put into their work. Honest and up front with cost analysis so you can decide on what procedures you want completed. This is my dental place for years and years to come!

K G - West Richland

Highly recommend! I've been having Jessica T. clean my teeth since 2007, she's the BEST! No pain or discomfort and my teeth have stayed healthy. Wherever she goes, my family goes! The office is conveniently located in west richland, brand new building w/ new technology, and the dentist is friendly and knowledgeable. Husband had a tooth break recently, they were able to get him in right away and took great care of him. The most gentle extraction he's ever had.

M Gormley - North Richland

Returning patient of the N. Richland office after moving away for five years. Appreciated Julie's thorough care and helpful advice - as per her usual high standards. I had seen Dr. Weatherill only a few times after Dr. Lagergren's practice was purchased. Dr. Weatherill is as professional and friendly as I remembered. Glad to be back!.

Ashley B - Washington

I have dental insurance that iant accepted here but I pay cash to go here because the staff is friendly and understanding. The doctors are professional and non judgemental as well as understanding and reassuring. I would recommend this dental office to anyone.

Erin G - Deschutes

I had a wonderful experience at my recent dental appointment at Family First Dental on Deschutes. As a first-time patient, I was so impressed by how thorough the exam was. The doctor was kind and informative, my hygienist was absolutely wonderful, and the entire staff made me feel genuinely welcomed from the moment I arrived. It's refreshing to find an office that is both professional and warm and I'm really looking forward to building a long-term relationship with this team. Highly recommend!

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions About Kennewick Pediatric Dental Care

What do I do when my child is afraid of the dentist?

If your child is afraid of the dentist, let our team know before the visit begins so we can help make the appointment feel calmer and more predictable. A good children’s dental office should use simple explanations, a gentle pace, and patient communication to help young patients feel more comfortable. At Family First Dental, we work with parents and children to build trust, reduce uncertainty, and make future visits easier.

What are the most effective preventive dental habits for kids?

The strongest preventive habits for children include brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, flossing once teeth touch, drinking plenty of water, limiting frequent sugary snacks and drinks, and keeping up with pediatric dental care appointments. Regular visits allow our team to monitor tooth development, check for early signs of cavities, and give parents practical guidance for home care.

Why is fluoride recommended for kid’s oral healthcare?

Fluoride strengthens tooth enamel and makes teeth more resistant to decay. For children, fluoride recommendations may be especially helpful while baby teeth and permanent teeth are developing. During a pediatric dental visit, our team can review your child’s cavity risk, brushing habits, and fluoride exposure to help parents understand whether fluoride treatment may be appropriate.

How can my child prevent cavities between dental visits?

Children can reduce cavity risk by brushing carefully, flossing daily, avoiding constant snacking, drinking water after meals, and visiting the dentist for regular children’s teeth cleanings. Cavities often form when plaque and sugar stay on the teeth long enough to weaken enamel. Routine cleanings, sealant guidance, fluoride recommendations, and better home habits can all help protect your child’s smile between visits.
